Sorrento, 365 days with Dry Martini

It is the only Italian Dry Martini, located on the coast of Sorrento, and has celebrated its first birthday. Javier de las Muelas, entrepreneur and trendsetter opened the terrace bar last year with Giulia Rossano and Lucio D’Orsi, owners of the Majestic Palace Hotel Sant’Agnello coinciding with the 40th Anniversary of Dry Martini in Barcelona.

According to Javier de las Muelas, “A cocktail bar can help improve people’s lives, it can be a meeting place where the conversation ritual can become the perfect combination for a new story”. The bar, located on the top floor of the Majestic Palace Hotel, extends along the entire terrace with a breathtaking view of the Napoli Gulf on one side, and the garden of 12,000 square meters of lemon and olive trees on the other. On the main floor there is a counter that indicates the amount of Dry Martinis served.

According to Giulia Rossano and Lucio D’Orsi, “a good cocktail and a perfect dinner are the best excuse to make an evening unique, so that people can have a nice time and live an experience that becomes a memory forever.”

The evening was accompanied by live music by Ondanueve String Quartet and the Dj. Jovy B, accompanied by cocktails, tapas and delights created for the occasion by chef Mario Affinita, a Michelin Star of Don Geppi, gourmet restaurant of the Majestic Palace Hotel, conceived and designed to accommodate only twelve guests.
