Paradores de Turismo & Javier de las Muelas start for a new year the summer season at “Mar i Vent Restaurant Beach Club” in Aiguablava as well as the “Xiringuito Mar i vent” which was opened at summer 2014 and that perfectly fits in the Parador cove, one of the most magical places in the Costa Brava.
From early June “Mar i Vent Restaurant Beach Club” and “Xiringuito” will offer a dining experience in a relaxed, captivating and pure Mediterranean environment. A combination of experiences with a suggestive menu where every day the cooks prepare from the best fish of the day, ceviche, lobster pot, king crab, mussels, clams and fried eggsto the remarkable best Palamos prawns or sea snails au gratin, delicious oysters, the best Suquet de barca, Mar i Vent steak tartare, fish soup and a wide range of rice, such as the rice with espardenyes or lobster, among many other specialties, all paired with a cocktail menu By Javier de las Muelas, based on textures and flavors inspired by the Aiguablava´s natural environment .
“Mar i Vent Restaurant Beach Club” has been recently renovated and Javier de las Muelas and Paradores de Turismo looked for inspiration in the story, Mediterranean landscapes and the nature surrounding the establishment. A singular place that offers a chill out area next to the Freixenet vineyard. A decoration based on natural materials and traditional designs such as the vines that with loving care climb over the wooden pergola to shade the guests.With wicker furniture that stands between the colors of the boats and the sailors utensils. With a lighting that creates a warm, cozy and comfortable atmosphere in the summer evenings.
